Teach Nova how your business works with Instructions

Every organizer has their own way of working. Their board metrics, their acquisition targets, their definition of a loyal participant. Until now, you'd need to give Nova all of that key business context each time in order to get the most informed insights and recommendations. That's about to change.
Introducing Instructions for Nova
You can now teach Nova about your business. Share your metrics, your strategic priorities, your internal shorthand. Nova holds onto all of it and applies it across every conversation, every analysis, every recommendation.
Think of it like onboarding a new analyst. Except you only have to do it once.
What you can teach it
Explain your business language
“We prefer ‘tickets’ or ‘entries’ over ‘registrations’. Use that terminology when talking about total places sold on a startlist.”
Tell Nova which data to include or exclude
“We sold the Summer Event Series to another event portfolio. This includes the Summer Run Fest and the Summer Cycle Fest. Exclude these events from analysis unless I ask otherwise.”
Set guardrails
“Never recommend discounts or price cuts to grow entries. Suggest marketing and referral ideas instead.”
How it works
Access Instructions through Nova's settings. Write instructions as plain text, as specific as you like. The more context you give, the better Nova performs.
You can review, edit, or remove instructions at any time. They are only visible to you and are not shared with other team members.
Less explaining. More doing.
The best insights come when Nova already understands your world. Instructions gets it there faster, so every conversation starts from a smarter place.
